“Sides” is series of photographs displayed together for investigation. The number of photographs depends on the space they inhabit and images are affixed to an artist board that pushes them image away from the wall and closer to the viewer. They describe the sides of an object removing of their context and symbolism to allow the act of looking. The work is open to and for experience. Comparing the images, one can find the subtleties in their point of view and the age of the object. Little can be seen beyond their surface. As the photographer, I hinder you from investigating further but ask instead to stay and study.
